The Macallan ‘distil your world’ new york

For the New York edition of The Macallan’s ‘Distil Your World’ series, an immersive experience was presented at the Rainbow Room to debut the limited-edition whiskey. The experience opened with a walk-through documentary screening following whiskey maker Polly Logan and the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca, two time recipient of World’s Best Restaurant, as they explored the city to encapsulate its essence into a whiskey. Guests were then transported to experience the bar scene of New York with a cocktail lab discovering gastronomic bites and custom whiskey cocktails, accompanied by a live string quartet. The evening concluded in the Rainbow Room with a dinner featuring a menu curated by El Celler de Can Roca and the debut of the Distil Your World New York bottle. A sculptural bottle display, inspired by the New York City skyline, the Art Deco architecture of the Rockefeller Center, and the tessellated geometry of the packaging, served as the focal point of the evening.
